My trip to Doi Pha Hom Pok, Thailand
Doi Pha Hom Pok (Pha Hom Pok Mountaian) based in Chiang Mai as this mountain is the second highest mountain in Thailand, after getting the last minute deals have followed.
I began my journey to Doi Pha Hom Pok from the center of Chiang Mai city driving my Honda Civic 04th About 160 kilometers away from downtown and then I arrived at the fishing district. Initially, my plan to ride my Honda Civic to the top of the mountain, but when I asked the local people they told me that you can not drive this car to the summit of Doi Pha Hom Pok, because of the way to the top of the mountain is very high.
Then I take my hire Honda Civic at the Mae Fang National Park and 4WD truck to me and my friends at the top of the mountain (there are many 4WD truck rented at the Mae Fang Natural Park). About 1 hour from Mae Fang Naturak park, i on the camping site of Doi Pha Hom Pok, since the weather has arrived big, but pretty cold for me (but I like this kind of weather). I could sleep now, because I will have to look at 3 Clock in the morning to the summit of Doi Pha Hom Pok trek to the beautiful sunrise in the morning.
The next day I woke up at third Clock 30, which is litte bit too late, because many travelers already started their journey to the top of Pha Hom Pok thus we begin our journey by ourselves. The way to the top of the mountain is very cold and dark that we can not see anything, and if we walk is about 90 minutes the battery of the spotlight now empty (Oh my God). For the moment we can not see anything, and no one walking around, it is we lost ourselves in a jungle.
Luckily I still have my Sony Ericsson K750, as I use a small camera to show me the light path. At that time I start to write, to ask someone for help and then I hear the sound of people who arrive already at the top of Doi Pha Hom Pok. Truly, I know that a solid and eventually I came to the forefront of Doi Pha Hom Pok (approximately 3 hours followed by the campsite.) At the top, I can see the most beautiful sunrise I've ever seen in my life and The weather at the top is colder than camping. I feel like I want to stay here all day, because the view is fantastic for me.
Finally, I want to tell you that anyone who would like to travel a fantastic mountains, you have to Doi Pha Hom Pok come and you will always remember this place.
